Web3 Software Technologies Limited, a company registered at Intershore Chambers, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands (“Web3 TV”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of creators and rights holders and expects all users to do the same. Users may upload or publish content only if they hold the necessary rights or permissions. Uploading copyrighted material without authorization, including videos, images, music, trademarks, or other protected works, is prohibited. By submitting content to Web3 TV, you affirm that you have the lawful right to distribute that content and that the material does not violate the rights of any third party.
In accordance with applicable copyright laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) for United States users, Web3 TV responds to valid copyright infringement notifications. If a rights holder believes their copyrighted material has been used on Web3 TV without authorization, they may submit a formal takedown notice requesting the removal of the allegedly infringing content. Upon receiving a compliant notice, Web3 TV will review the claim, remove or disable access to the content where appropriate, and notify the uploader. Web3 TV may also terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
A valid takedown notice should include sufficient information to identify the copyrighted work, details enabling Web3 TV to locate the allegedly infringing content, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement affirming the accuracy of the notice under penalty of perjury, and valid contact information for the complaining party. The notice must also include a physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or their authorized representative.
The user who uploaded the removed material may submit a counter-notification if they believe the takedown request was submitted in error or if they have the right to use the content. A counter-notification must similarly contain specific legal statements and contact information. If a valid counter-notification is received, Web3 TV may restore the content unless the copyright owner initiates a legal action within the time period required by law. Web3 TV does not act as an arbitrator between parties and cannot determine ownership or legality beyond its obligations as a service provider.
Web3 TV reserves the right to remove, restrict, or disable access to content that appears to infringe intellectual property rights, even without a formal notice, when necessary to protect the platform or comply with legal obligations. Web3 TV may also suspend or terminate accounts that engage in repeated or severe infringement, regardless of intent.
