These Community Guidelines explain the standards of behavior and content required on Web3 TV. They exist to maintain a safe, lawful, and respectful environment for viewers, creators, advertisers, and the broader community. All users must comply with these Guidelines in addition to the Web3 TV Terms of Use.
By using Web3 TV, you agree to follow these rules, and you acknowledge that violations may result in content removal, age-restriction, demonetization, feature limitations, account suspension, or permanent termination. Web3 TV may enforce these Guidelines at its sole discretion.
Purpose and Scope of These Guidelines
1.1 Web3 TV is a global video-sharing and streaming platform that hosts a variety of content, including entertainment, technology, blockchain, cryptocurrency, gaming, artificial intelligence, education, lifestyle, and creator-focused media. Because our platform includes user-generated content, we must ensure that all participants interact responsibly and respect the standards that protect user safety, legal compliance, and platform integrity.
1.2 These Guidelines apply to all forms of content submitted to Web3 TV, including videos, livestreams, clips, comments, messages, metadata, thumbnails, titles, descriptive text, profile information, and any Web3-enabled components.
Safety, Respect, and Responsible Conduct
2.1 Web3 TV requires all users to behave respectfully toward one another. Content or behavior intended to harass, threaten, intimidate, or degrade other users is prohibited. This includes targeted harassment, coordinated attacks, stalking, unwanted sexualization, personal insults, hateful expressions, and behavior that aims to shame, degrade, or silence individuals or groups.
2.2 Users must not encourage others to engage in abusive behavior, nor may they encourage hostility, retaliation, or harassment campaigns.
Prohibited Content and Harmful Expressions
3.1 Web3 TV does not permit content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, caste, disability, medical condition, immigration status, or any other protected characteristic.
3.2 We also prohibit content that encourages violent acts, celebrates harm inflicted on others, advocates for extremist ideology, or attempts to recruit individuals into extremist organizations.
3.3 Content that includes graphic violence, sexual exploitation, self-harm instructions, or dangerous acts intended to cause injury is not allowed. The presence of such content may lead to immediate removal and account termination.
Illegal, Dangerous, or Unethical Activity
4.1 Web3 TV does not allow content that facilitates or encourages conduct that violates applicable law or presents material risk to public safety. This includes the promotion of illegal drugs, the distribution of regulated goods, the facilitation of financial scams, the encouragement of weapons misuse, or instructions on how to commit crimes such as hacking, fraud, identity theft, or cyberattacks.
4.2 Content that encourages dangerous stunts, harmful challenges, or activities that may cause injury, particularly when involving minors, is strictly forbidden.
4.3 Users must not exploit legal grey areas or attempt to evade enforcement by presenting unlawful acts humorously, ironically, or indirectly.
Misinformation and Harmful Claims
5.1 Web3 TV restricts content that spreads misinformation likely to cause significant harm, particularly in areas involving public health, election integrity, emergency response, or financial fraud.
5.2 Content that promotes false claims about medical treatments, manipulates political processes, misrepresents real-world events in harmful ways, or deceives viewers into financial losses will be removed.
5.3 Users must not impersonate government agencies, professionals, or authoritative institutions in ways that mislead viewers.
Child Safety and Protection of Minors
6.1 Content involving minors must be treated with the highest level of caution.
6.2 Web3 TV prohibits sexualized depictions of minors, endangerment of minors, bullying or humiliation of minors, violent content involving minors, and invitations for minors to engage in risky behaviors.
6.3 If minors appear in content, creators are responsible for ensuring that their participation is safe, respectful, and compliant with local laws.
6.4 Parents or legal guardians must supervise any account used by individuals under the age of thirteen, or the higher age of digital consent required by local jurisdiction.
Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright Compliance
7.1 Users may upload content only if they own or have obtained all rights necessary to use the material. Uploading copyrighted works, such as music, films, shows, clips, art, software, or trademarks without permission from the rights holder is prohibited.
7.2 Copyright owners may request removal of infringing content under Web3 TV’s DMCA Policy, and repeated infringement may result in account termination.
7.3 Users must not attempt to mask or alter copyrighted materials to evade detection.
Spam, Scams, and Deceptive Practices
8.1 Web3 TV prohibits deceptive acts designed to mislead users, manipulate engagement metrics, or exploit the platform. Spam behavior includes repeatedly posting comments or messages, artificially inflating likes or views, scraping user data, impersonating other individuals for deceptive purposes, or directing users to malware, phishing sites, or fraudulent financial schemes.
8.2 Misrepresenting a product, service, promotion, affiliate opportunity, or investment, including cryptocurrency or token-based offerings is not permitted.
Web3, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrency-Related Content
9.1 Web3 TV permits content involving blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, NFTs, Web3 gaming, and decentralized platforms, provided that such content is lawful, transparent, and does not mislead users.
9.2 Creators must not promote false claims about investment returns, misrepresent token utility, or encourage viewers to participate in deceptive or unregistered financial schemes.
9.3 Content that includes wallet addresses, token giveaways, or smart-contract interactions must be presented responsibly, without encouraging dangerous or irreversible financial actions.
9.4 Web3 TV does not permit creators to instruct viewers to send funds or assets to addresses under false pretenses.
Reporting, Removal, Blocking, and Enforcement
10.1 Users may report content or behavior that violates these Guidelines.
10.2 Reports are reviewed by Web3 TV, and appropriate action is taken based on severity, context, and platform risk. Users may also block other users to prevent unwanted interactions or exposure to disruptive conduct.
10.3 Web3 TV may remove content, restrict its visibility, apply age-gating, issue warnings, or suspend or terminate accounts as needed.
10.4 Enforcement decisions are made at Web3 TV’s discretion and may take into account user history, intent, past violations, and risk to the community.
Creator Responsibility and Accountability
11.1 Creators must take responsibility for the content they publish.
11.2 They must ensure their uploads comply with legal requirements, community safety standards, and intellectual property rules.
11.3 Creators participating in monetization programs must adhere to additional platform standards, including rules governing advertiser-friendly content, financial accuracy, and viewer safety.
11.4 Misconduct, including artificial inflation of engagement metrics or encouragement of harmful behavior may result in the loss of monetization privileges or removal from creator programs.
Advertising and Brand Safety
12.1 Content eligible for advertising must follow stricter rules than general content. Creators must not display harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content in conjunction with promotional partners or advertising placements.
12.2 Advertiser-facing content must not contain unlawful activity, excessive profanity, hateful expressions, graphic material, or controversial political claims that could harm brand reputation.
12.3 Web3 TV reserves the right to remove ads or disable monetization to protect advertisers and maintain trust in the platform.
Paid Promotions, Sponsorships, and Disclosures
13.1 If creators promote products, services, software, tokens, NFTs, or branded partnerships, they must clearly disclose such promotions in accordance with legal advertising and consumer protection requirements.
13.2 Disclosures must be honest, easily understandable, and placed in a visible location within the content.
13.3 Creators must not conceal sponsorships, manipulate viewers through hidden promotions, or misrepresent financial risks associated with digital assets or investments.
Moderation Decisions and Appeals
14.1 Web3 TV works to apply these Guidelines consistently, but moderation requires careful judgment.
14.2 If Web3 TV removes content or restricts account features, the affected user may request clarification.
14.3 While Web3 TV may review certain enforcement decisions, we do not guarantee that decisions will be reversed, and we are not obligated to restore removed content.
14.4 Repeated violations, or violations involving serious harm, may result in permanent loss of access.
Consequences of Violations
15.1 Violations may result in various enforcement measures, including content removal, age-restriction, demonetization, reduced distribution, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, or referral to legal authorities when appropriate.
15.2 Severe violations, particularly those involving child safety, extremist content, fraud, impersonation, intellectual property theft, or significant harm may result in immediate account removal without prior notice.
Updates to These Guidelines
16.1 These Community Guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect evolving legal requirements, platform features, technological developments, user expectations, or safety concerns.
16.2 Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance of any updated version.
16.3 Users are encouraged to review these Guidelines regularly to remain informed of their obligations.
